Public Night Run
In October each year we hold a night time run so that members of the public can experience riding a train in the dark. This is fun for all ages to experience. Bring a picnic dinner and enjoy a relaxing night under the stars.

Railmotor Adventures - NSW Hunter Region
Take a ride on a vintage Rail Motor as we travel from Newcastle to Gloucester (and return) in the scenic Hunter Region of NSW.
The railmotors are hired, staffed and maintained through The Railmotor Society located in Paterson, NSW.

Railmotor Adventures - Hawkesbury River Cruise
Enjoy a ride on the historic Railmotors from Newcastle down to the Hawkesbury River where we alight the railmotors and aboard the Riverboat Postman for a 4 hour river cruise before returning home.

Blowfly Rally 2023
The Mudgee Miniature Railway would like to invite all model engineers to our facility for the 2022 'Blowfly Rally & Birthday Weekend Run' on Saturday 14th & Sunday 15th May 2022 at our tracksite at 530 Ulan Rd, Mudgee NSW. Saturday is a closed private run for visiting members of other AALS affiliated clubs with no general public admitted, Sunday is a public running day from 10 am until 2 pm. There is no requirement for our visitors to haul the public if they don't want to, but any help would be appreciated. While aiming for as many 'Blowflys' as possible, all types of models whether steam, petrol or electric, steam road vehicle models and stationary steam models are welcome to come and have a run. Even without a loco, come along and enjoy the weekend, our club loco is available. There is plenty of space at the club site for caravans and camping, but if you wish to stay in Mudgee at a hotel, motel, caravan park, B & B or any other type of accommodation, you are advised to book as early as you can. Although registration to attend this event is not required, it would be appreciated if those wishing to attend could advise us that they will attend along with if staying at the club grounds or in town and possibly if they are bringing a model with them.
